A Season of Firsts
These last 7 weeks were filled with lots of “firsts” for us. During the kids two week long spring break (insert crying emoji), we got to travel to the west coast for the first time! We made our way to County Galway, taking in the views of the mountains and fjord of Killary in Connemara’s Gaeltacht.
Hi, How Are Ya?
Hello dear friends, I am happy to report we are alive and well. The last few weeks have been exhausting and overwhelming but we’re making it through and so praise God for that. He’s seen us through the farthest move, keeping us all in one piece (including our sweet pup, Lady!)
It’s Official
I am wasting NO TIME because this is the update we have been waiting literally years to give and it feels surreal that the time has finally come: Our visa’s have been approved and we will be leaving the first week of February! I still can’t believe I get to string that sentence together.
Round Trip
This summer has been a whirlwind and we’ve been hard at work. If you’ve read our past updates, you know that we were hoping to be fully relocated by August. As August was creeping up, we saw it was less and less likely we would able to fully relocate by then like we had hoped.
So. Close.
Since the last time we talked (that’s how I feel when I write these updates - like talking to an old friend), we’ve been burning the midnight oil. I’m writing this on the heels of returning back from a week at Hume. Jeremy went with West Hills Youth Group to Hume Lake to be a middle school counselor (ask him about it) - the kids and I tagged along and got to celebrate Emery’s birthday up there.
